It's been since 2006 that I last made a knife.

I got the bug again and reintroduced my Combat Special model...this version being named the "WDW" after my late buddy who served many, many years.

7.5" blade forged from L6, about 1/4" thick differentially treated and coated in Durcoat.

A really cruddy color sheet of linen micarta that's been laying in my supplies for many years.

It's two panels....3/8" thick each, mortised for the tang. A Corby rivet, thong tubing, and epoxy bond it all together.
 
Thats a great looking combat knife!!

You're probably going to need it to fight James Terrio for that avatar ;0)
