I made this for my brother to take to Iraq with him when he gets deployed later in the year. Only thing left to do with it is send it to 308sniper to Coat it and make it non reflective. (And to make it look awsome he does good work.) the steel is 154CM 5/32 thick Paul Box heat treat and done mostly in my garage with an ocasional trip to Bruce Bump for advice and better machinery. blade is 6.5" from tip to Ricasso, and 11.5" OAL.

I cant wait to get it back from Sniper I will try to get it to him early this week. I will post more pics when it gets back.

The Handle is Tan G-10 from Sheffield's
The Bottle Opener was just something I thought might come in handy. LOL More for hunting season than for Iraq. But maybe they will have pop bottles in Iraq, Yeah thats it "Pop Bottoles" LOL I hope he likes it. and moreover I hope it comes in handy.

Yep gonna send it to 308sniper to have the whole thing in digital Camo to match his BDU's. I cant wait to see it. you should check out 308snipers web site it is awsome the work that he does.
 
I like the knife, thats fr4 on the handle, right?

won't the coating cover your maker's mark?
 
Tan G-10 with Stainless pins (Some of my Blood where i cut my finger on the grinder LOL) ok I wiped the blood off.
 
My brother called me today and asked about the chances I could make him a knife to take to Iraq (What are the ods) I told him I might not have time and asked him what he wanted. He basically said he wanted what I have built. He did say that he Did not want one that was coated. SO I will not be sending this out like I said earlier. the important thing is he gets a Sharp knife and one that he wants and likes. I am soo sory that I cannot sent it to 308sniper (Member this forum), and have pics later of the work done. 308sniper does some good work from what I have seen on his sight. But I plan to get one done from him in the future. go check out his site.
