So that seemed to work well enough. I put a shim on each side of the blade and screwed it home. Then loosened it just enough to get the shims back out without tearing them.
The blade clicks open nicely. But closed is a bit slow. I added some 3n1 and am working it now. I figure that I won't cut the bolt or grind down the nuts until it is happy.
