Newest Spyderco

I'm looking into one of these. I just move near the ocean, and always have to take off my knife when i go into the water. Let me know how it goes!

g. vantilburg-
I've had my Pacific Salt for just over a year now. It's an awesome knife. My dad and I race offshore and I've carried it in my lifevest and haven't thoroughly washed the blade after taking a jump in the lake to cool off. I also run on the track team as a middle-distance runner (400, 800, and their respective relays) and keep the Pacific Salt in my waistband on training days where we are not on school property. It has yet to rest, and it has yet to dull. It's still shaving sharp. The handle is nice, and very ergonomic (think clone of the Endura 3). I highly recommend it---it is probably close to one of the best $50 buys you could find. If you need more info, I have it.

Hey Wade,

Off topic question for you....tell me about your running activities. Are you in school? What kind of times are you posting in the 800? I have a son in HS that's doing very well in the 1/2 mile and mile and looking for some encouragement as his school doesn't really focus on track as much as some. His PR in the 800 is 1:59 and he turned 16 in March.

Cheers.
