Newfound Cash, Which Knife??

I'd buy one of the wilson combat elites for $275-400. I own the one with the green armor tuff handle and black blade. I think its a great tactical knife. I was going to buy a new sebenza but im glad i baught this.

I would get something by Jens Anso. It would be hard to choose between his City Blade, DropPoint, Sheepsfoot, and Hybrid styles, but I would manage somehow.:D

I keep going back and looking at the William Henry Black and Tan.
I also would consider one of the persian style Emersons. I do not recall the model number off hand.

Probably a Dozier Ranger! I really like this knife, but I'm too tight(or broke) to buy one.

I gotta watch this thread I just finnised my taxes,(cost me $440):( but I am gettin' a nice chunk back, soooo... lets see what everyone else say's TBG, I was lookin' at another locals knives, a Bud Nealy MASS AT

T. Erdelyi, Have you seen Bud Nealy/Mroz knife in the march 2003 issue of TK mag.It is a interesting knife and I am leaning toward it after reading the article. He makes a nice Wor-tac but it is a little bigger than I am looking for in a straight blade right now.The sheath systems are very cool. When you go to his site clck on brochure and he will send one it shows in detail the knives and the sheath systems in detail................R

I take it back....If I had found some extra cash, I would put it toward an Obenauf. I don't know which one, but I checked out cpirtle's collection, and fell in love with his Obenauf knives. Very impressive.

Cool, I sure wish this would happen to me!
RIght now I can't spring for anything in my dream category.
Under the one knife model it would be

A Strider MT; Don't know why I want one of these, I'd never use it since it cost me so much but they just look so cool.

or
A Bill Seigle Hoodlum;
Handled one of these and it makes a lot of sense. Like a modified Gurka design. Pretty damn cool. THis one I would use.

Or could use a shorter Criswell sword to go with my Katana.
Around 18" would be a good length.

Or possibly a 10-12 inch Bowie of the sort available from some of the community bladesmiths. Prefer forged.

In the real world I would be more practical. If you can call having too many knives practical.
No contest I would get a Dozier fixed blade, probably a Pro guide or a skinner. Lifelong user of the highest order,
and a Swamp rat Camp Tramp.
Of course many things could happen after I had cash in hand to alter this well thought out plan!!

Humm... The OVB series is very nice. Have the Fiddleback maple, need the Ironwood. So many to choose. A nice Dempsey...A nice William Henry..a nice custom Godfather...still have to think.

For a production, I'd go with the Buck/Mayo collab or the BM42-01. If I was going custom, I'd pick up a Marlowe, or perhaps a T.T.K.K. from Trace Rinaldi, or something from Robert Hankins, or maybe an R.W. Clark, or...............well, you get the idea. Lots of great stuff to be had in that price range. So many knives...so little money...
