I think the stabilizer being engraved with CR logo is a nice touch. I would like to see the knife a little further away before I cast my opinion.

Its there to prevent fakes........Its there for a Reason....Nuff Said.

Luckily, the engraving machines that companies use to make fake Sebenzas do not have the letters I, D, A, H, O, M or E.

I am a fan of lock stabalizers and/or over-travel mechanisms. I was just hoping CRK would have come up with a more innovative and creative solution. That being said, the revised design is much more visually appealing to me.

They could have left the Classic MM on and there is always the CR logo instead of that ugly IM stamp.

In reality none of these prevents a strong enough barrier for counterfeiters, Ebay is full fake CR knives (some very good and some very bad copies)

........... but at the risk of repeating myself the IM stamp has saved me loads of money :)

looks fine, much better than the plain one
the logo adds some class

still prefer somehow my plain one but this one is fine, even a little cool

This addition places the Zaan back in the realm of desirability for me. It looks much better and I think they even tried to make the color of the disk match the finish of the frame a little better. Ideally I'd love an original Umnum without the disk and with an S30V blade, but this alteration puts it back on my list of knives to buy.

Thank you for showing that you do listen to and care about our opinions, Mr. Reeve. Ultimately the Umnumzaan is your design and you didn't have to do this.

Funny. I chose one w/o the CR logo even though the place I bought from had 3 born 3/21/12. Two were plain and 1 had the logo. Maybe the plain discs will be worth something in a few years :)
