Owner's notes :

Dave Shirely era Northwoods Scagel B&T style FB. Stag & 1095, made by Queen i believe. I bought it new from a dealer (Billy Cochrane) for $229. There were a few (3 ?) Scagel FB patterns and i think 3 Scagel folder patterns and all sold out and some people collect them now.

The handle is stacked leather with brass & copper spacers, and a stag crown, very nice.

OAL is 8.5" with 4-3/8" of edge. Sheathmarked Mosher

Owner's notes :

Charlie Weiss 6 1/4" B & T; cast dendritic 440C steel and red coral handles + sheath
The 440C steel is melted and poured into a mold (made by knife maker) and then cooled in an exact manner and result is an ultra fine grain size steel, so can take a very thin highly polished ultra sharp edge. Least, this is how i understand it.
Handles are beautiful !
I bought this for $300
Charlie Weiss was very highly regarded in the 1990's. He made a lot of different knife styles and all came out top notch. Dendritic steel is an example of the broad scope of what he would try. mostly he used regular steel i think.
Some old timer who always wanted a C. Weiss knife might just be thrilled with this opportunity. Younger dudes likely will give it a fast pass

OAL is 6-3/8" 2-3/4" of cutting edge. Tapered tang, mosaic pis. Sheath marked Weiss
asking $250. Paypal fee's & shipping in the States included

This knife is re listed on my site FS,at a reduced price of $195.. It was sold at my normal price for $225.There is nothing wrong with it,buyer was just a picky guy & " it was not what he really wanted " , or something like that. The fit & finish is decent in the asking range & these make great carry/work folder,if you like a clip & a lock. It has a sabre grind on the blade,it is not too thin, for medium to harder cutting tasks but it is sharp. Good EDC work folder, nice & light, nice size. I've looked around quite a bit to find a maker who can fabricate a hand made liner lock with pocket clip,as requested by my customers, and at a great modest price, you can afford to carry & use it!
Now $150. Paypal fee & shipping in the States included
