Mine's been on order since the end of January. Almost 10 weeks, now. I wonder if there's a technical problem. D-2 isn't the easiest steel in the world to get right. I hope Eric gives us an update soon - even if it's disappointing.

I was told it is problems with the D2. Mainly it is harder to machine than SR-101, and the production issues are getting worked out. Not too surprising if you ever tried to sharpen even semi dull D2. That stuff is HARD! Shouldn't be too long. I've been waiting since last Nov, but believe me, it's worth the wait.

Thanks for the update, Eric. This is going to be worth the wait, I'm sure.vI know that D-2 is not the easiest steel to make a good knife out of - to say the least! It sure will be fun to see what you guys finally come up with. I'll bet it cuts like crazy
