(Addressing the chair...)
Cobalt, and my esteemed colleagues, I have a problem with calling it "Democratic", as the accustomed definition of "Democrat" discriminates against conservatives and Republicans.
I would suggest these following recommendations:
The party should actually be defined as "Unified", "Reformed" or "All-Mighty and Inclusive"
440C with a hardness of no greater than 57C should be deemed a suitable and acceptable material and hardness.
1/8" thickness of material could be acceptable as long as the actual width of the blade does not exceed .875". Should the width of a blade made from 1/8" stock exceed that .875" dimension, then the only acceptable construction should be hidden tang with 90 degree angles and no radii at the tang/blade junction. We cannot have a knife that is too strong.
These recommendations humbly submitted to the party chair, Specification Committee, and the Department of Redundancy Department. All offers null and void in PA and RI, no purchase necessary to win, all contestants must be over 18, demonstration performed on a closed course by a professional driver, no animals were harmed in the writing of this post, no sales tax if sold outside New Mexico.
