Any news on the buck strider fixed blade?

I have not heard anything new yet. I did see some more of the fixed blade Strider/Buck protos. What a bullet proof knife! I hope they are ready by the time i leave for hunting because i think it would be perfect for skinning an elk. It would also do well should i get lost out there in the woods!
I "heard" from a reliable sorce that Pete's should be up and running in a week. of course, this is the same source that has been saying that now for about a month!

Quick follow up to Joe's point on the website. We are having troubles with the company that built the website...including PCKS...

They lost some of their braintrust that was polishing up petes. Getting things to work has been much more difficult. Pete Q. is on the job so I am expecting this to be up and running smoothly very soon.
