Newspaper comic strips, any good ones left?

Hmmmm, good subject, this is. Most of my comic strip reading is done in the compiled book form down at Barnes and Noble. As such, I find it fun to read Garfield (he's grabbed my funny bone, once again) and Zits. I find both those strips funnier when read consecutively, rather than day-to-day. Foxtrot was great for a while, many years ago, but then Bill Amend started recycling the jokes far too often... the latest compilation books, though, have been decent.

One strip that I appreciate more the older I get is Peanuts/Charlie Brown. I've been reading the compilation books of his '50's strips and, while some jokes are obvious, others are so sublimely hilarious that I can't help but laugh out loud! :D
