I have bought quite a few knives in my day, but what happened this week was great. Someone at Wicked Knife Company mistakenly sent me a NRGS Knife with a chord wrapped handle, instead of one with a Micarta handle, like I ordered. Well Newt emailed me a day or two ago and said he would be sending the one I ordered, and to just go ahead and keep the one sent to me by mistake (worth over $50 shipped!). That was unexpected, and qualifies Newt definitely as THE GOOD. He has always answered my emails in a day or so, and I am more than pleased at the service I have always received from him. He's a heck of a nice guy, and a great knifemaker that makes high quality, affordable, knives. He is "Top Shelf," no doubt about it.

So far I've purchased a Woo and a Air Assualt from newt, have a knife in his shop getting re sheathed (kydex) and am saving up the pennies for a RTAK.

Newt certainly is one of the "good ones". I wish there were more like him around- even if they didn't all make knives, it's just good to know that there folks out there who are as good as their word. Dealt w/ Newt on several occasions- always a pleasant experience.

Newt certainly is the Man. He has been very helpful and is one of few who answered 0100 hr. email just after you send it. Got a Ex Woo on the way from another great guy, Jackyl, and will order many more from Newt. Thanks Newt, Evolhd.

After a few emails between Newt and Joda this morning, I was waiting to hear back from my last one. Just now Newt called me at work. Not only was he obviously concerned about me getting just what I wanted (we discussed several sheath options and came up with a combination to suit my needs), but we even got to talking about electricity, natural gas, and green meteors! Don't ask....
Bottom line - he's definitely a standup guy and he staff is great as well. Now I have to wait for my 2nd Wicked Knife!

Newt is a busy man, but always takes time to answer your questions on the phone and by e-mail if he has the time. He also has a very nice staff. His products are top shelf using knives. And if he has it in stock he ships ASAP, if he is making a batch though you might have to wait longer. So far I have the Air Assault, Woo, SOP, HKR, Great guy.
