I personally go for the 14" BDC. It is not a monster chopper, but I feel more drawn to it then the Pen knife. That is mostly me though. I handled the pass around Pen knife and it seemed nice enough and it is a good user, I just am not drawn to the shape I guess. I love the way the BDC handles. I love the full sized sort of westernized handle shape also. It feels good when chopping with it. Also, I love blades with that shape and really love fullered blades. I think that the suggestion to get both, compare and send us a review is a great one!
