Hey ya i was wondering if you could give me some ideas on another adventure.
i already did a survival style outing and looking for another one maybe with a kayak. i live in a wooded area with a lake right near me in Ga if that helps so lets stat the brain storming

Ya might try some whitewater kayak classes.

Other than that, do the survival thing in an area/season you are not familiar with.

is there anywhere you can paddle a canoe? possibly for a couple weeks. thats what i'd be doin if i had the spare time

Lanier or Hartwell?

how big is the lake? try camping out for a few nights or a week. Bring the minimum ammount of food and test your skills at gathering food, catching fish and other critters. Make it a fishing/hunting/trapping trip. I'll bet you'll learn something...

+1

Maybe also take an edible plant ID field guild (for your area) and supplement your diet for the week with plant material.

Kind regards
Mick

A really fun thing to do is to take a dirtbike up some old trails, if you know of any near you that were at one time used by vehicles but have since been overgrown. Some friends and I did this about 25 years ago, and we actually panned for some gold in a river and found a little. You don't have to go for gold, any good trail will be equally as fun on a bike. Old logging roads, trails that once led to a quarry or mine, stuff like that. Picture it as a hike on two wheels. ;)
