SBG FEATURED BLADE OF THE WEEK: Doomsday Blood Moon Sword
Known as a lunar eclipse, the reddish hue's cast onto a full moon by the earth's shadow has long been a sign of doom across many cultures and civilizations. They cause a primal reaction of mixed awe and fear, which could be relieved with this impressive piece of steel and blood wood at your side. An almost indestructible, unstoppable heat treated full tang blade with a triangular blade design capable of delivering very powerful cuts and a devastating thrust. This original design by esteemed sword designer Jason Woodard is exclusively offered at the SBG on-line store and handmade by Scorpion Swords & Knives.
ONE OF THIS WEEK’S DISCOUNTED BLADES - The Defender’s Sword
One of our featured swords this week: The Defender’s Sword. This is the ultimate urban self-defense blade with the durability of a machete yet the cutting power of a scimitar, no zombie apocalypse bug out bag would be complete without it! Optimized to transition easily between slashing, cutting and thrusting - weighing in at 2lbs it can wind up and deliver deceptively fast with powerful blows. The heat treatment process that we add to all our blades, when applied to our high quality 1095 carbon steel, make this sword virtually indestructible.
Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in oil. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.

Blade Thickness = 3/16”
Handle Length = 9 3/8”
