Hey Tim, remember this knife? After I saw these pics, I fell in love with the design.

Anybody interested in a production version? I am!!!

its the attack of the little red x's!!!!! what model are you talking about so we may google it!

I like it. They should call it the "Maco" or "Hammer Head" or something. It looks sleek and fast which is why "maco" sounds so good. It would certainly find its way to my home.

gorgeous knife... I like the absence of the pivot on the front from under the scale. Makes that side simply beautiful. classic Onion clip. This may sound wierd but it reminds me of a dolphin leaping out tof the water. Quite beautiful

The MOAB is great too... I especially appreciate its unique look... but too many sharp lines for me. I think it would be a great proposal for a Sci-Fi movie knife.

It would be great if thier was a finger choil. Where the flipper is , as i think thats a waste of space. Besided that, It would be a must buy. Awesome design.

That is a very beautiful and elegant design. I would like to see that in anodized brown with black inserts like the SG2 Blur.

Dunno if it'll end up in production or in what form, but Tim's created a beautiful knife...I love the blade geometry!

Tim, change anything you want before production, EXCEPT the blade! Oh, and if you happen to have an "extra" prototype or two lying around, I'll give it a good home!

Great design! I actually like many of the "futuristic" or "alien" sci fi styles but they are reproduced with junk materials as display knives. To get one made from quality materials is an expensive custom endeavor. This design is close and is very nice. To produce these more unique custom designs with affordable quality materials are a great addition to many of our collections. Kudos to Kershaw and all knife company's that are willing to collaborate with custom makers to produce affordable, quality custom designs

ahhh, yes, the picture is much better now!!;) Very pretty knife. Ok, what the heck, let's get it into production. There's probably not much going on at the factory right now anyway!:D

Man, that is handsome! I say it's time we reconsider "commissioning" a Kershaw Forum Knife -- and this beauty gets my vote.

Hey guys, glad you like the Punk. I have only made 3 of them, and then moved on to other designs.

I don't know how realistic this design would be in a production knife. The grinds are what concerns me, they have to be just right to bring all the lines of the knife together. The way the plung kind of leans forward towards the tip is not an easy thing to do, by hand or machine.

The other thing about this design that bugs me is that there are not as many degrees of rotation with the flipper, as say a JYD or Lahar. With a custom knife, I can spend all kinds of time and get it right regardless of how much rotation the flipper has. Not so with a production knife.

I hope I did not burst your bubble guys, but who knows maybe I will revisit the Punk in the future with a production knife in mind.

I like this knife very much. The main thing I see here that I like is the use of a silver handle material. I would love to see more Kershaws with either silver G10 or Silver G10 twill. However, I get the distinct feeling that it is a PITA to work with since it has been some time since the SG10 Blur. Oh well, such is life.

Any of your other designs in Kershaws pipeline that you might
like to discuss??

Love the punk!! Very sweet lines on it.
