Next knife a Dozier.

Okay. Here's a Dozier prototype pic. This is a convex ground prototype blade that I was testing last week. It is now on its way to Hoodoo for more testing. The performance was extraordinary, and the blade was wonderfully strong. I batoned the knife into knots of many different woods, and whittled my heart out. An extraordinary blade, to say the least.

That particular knife that Buzz is showing as a prototype just came out in A. G. Russell's latest Knife Collector's notice, complete with order form. It is avaiable in Ironwood or black Rugarta with a 3 3/4" inch blade of flat ground D2. Billed as a skinner or camp knife it certainly looks a winner for under $200.00.
You simply can't go wrong with a Dozier knife. But beware, like the famous chip commercial, you simply can't have only one. I currently have eight and already have two more in the works!

I can only speak regarding Dozier folders. EXCELLENT. Regardless of which one you choose how can you go wrong? As far as fixed blades.....I betch ya even the Arkansas Toothpick would cover most needs. Guess what? The AT is gonna be my next Dozier.

Manila,
Check out Doz.Reverse Tanto or his Model #6(BladeArt has a Model#6,if I didn't have one this would be gone, this is the only #6 he has)! Blues beat me out of the one he is showing!! "I" had to push him, to see this knife, left for a brief moment, returned(couldn't have been gone more than 30 sec.) & my sneaky friend had scoffed this one up!! He was smerking when he told me!!Bottom line "any" Doz. you get will make you happy!

Thank you for all the replies. I guess you really can not go wrong with any choice. Hopefully I will be posting picss soon.:D

Just got the slim outdoorsman for a birthday present. :D All I can say about this knife is that it screams use me. The balance and the feel in hand is the first thing that I noticed. Second would be the solid snap you here when the knife slides into the kydex. And defiantly the subtle indication of it being hand made. I am sure I will come up with more after a actually use it. Did I mention the sharpness.

Thanks again.

Oh yea the pics, I will have to work on that. :)
