Next knife for my kitchen?

Right now I only have a Hattori Forums FH-7 Gyuto 240mm by EMS as my sole "good" kitchen knife. The rest of the time I use a cheap block set that I've had forever and is junk. I also have some decent steak knives (at least I think so) from Tojiro.

Next, I would like to get a paring knife, petty, bread and perhaps a Santoku. I'm somewhat flexible on price, I'd like them to be good quality Japanese similar to my chef's knife although if I can save some money that'd be great.

Are there any wood blocks that people recommend for whatever reason? I wouldn't think this matter much but figured I'd ask. Thanks!

If you like that Hattori knife, JCK sells plenty more in that same product line.

Yeah, that makes sense. I first got that knife when it came out so I was wondering there are better recommendations out there at this point (e.g. better steel for the same price)?
