Support BladeForums! Paid memberships don't see ads! Right now I only have a Hattori Forums FH-7 Gyuto 240mm by EMS as my sole "good" kitchen knife. The rest of the time I use a cheap block set that I've had forever and is junk. I also have some decent steak knives (at least I think so) from Tojiro. Next, I would like to get a paring knife, petty, bread and perhaps a Santoku. I'm somewhat flexible on price, I'd like them to be good quality Japanese similar to my chef's knife although if I can save some money that'd be great. Are there any wood blocks that people recommend for whatever reason? I wouldn't think this matter much but figured I'd ask. Thanks!
