Great work, thank you for the pictures

what magic trix are you using to put the shaft into these things?

no pins?

what glue?

what angular alignment of the sun at apex?

Stacked leather leading into bocote... that is a beautiful thing. Very striking contrast. I love the figure on that bocote. Fit and finish are up there as well. Nice work!

Follow the instructions on Dave Rishar's tutorial. It has some good tips.

http://www.daverishar.com/Rehandle/Rehandle.html

I went out to do some trimming with it and the handle was quite comfortable But while I was pulling down some branches with my left hand I forgot the rule, "Know where the edge is because it knows where you are."

I put the tip into my leg above my knee. Probably with any Other khuk I own it wouldn't have been as bad, but this one is very pointy and razor sharp.

I wonder if Uncle Bill ever said, "Three cents of superglue saves you five stitches."

WARNING....BLOOD....SORT OF.

Super nice! I like the thin spacers you used with the leather, and the contrasting grain of the wood looks excellent!

Sorry to hear about the leg:eek:, I had a close call the other day climbing over a downed tree. May you heal quickly.

I really feel for you, bro. I haven't bought a pair yet, but I've been looking at these since getting into swinging large knives at overgrown vegetation:

The picture of your trousers has got me thinking more seriously about spending the $100.

I hope you heal soon, Bruche.

Well if it wasn't spring I would have been wearing double knee Carhartts. The wound would not have been so severe with those on. Gonna have to make another quickdraw sheath for this one or an adjustable baldric that will fit all of my regular khukuri sheathes.
