well the latest email he said he doesnt used bg42 anymore -he likes cpm154 now-

not sure if i want to spend 400 for a knife with cpm154-
just feels like your not getting the best steel for the money to me-
what do you guys think ,am i being to picky about the blade steel?

Being picky imho. Scot make s a cool knife. By the way,,his flippers don't necessarily open with just the flipper mechanism,,,although that doesn't mean a flipper isn't fuctioning properly.

its just when i think of cpm154 i think of 50-60$ knives from crkt-

Well...I thought there was CPM154CM and just plain ol' 154CM.

The CPM154CM is touted as 'better' due to Crucible's mfg process?
