Hey fellas,

Just letting you know I'm not going to be at the Blade show this year.
There's a number of reasons why, some personal, some I can share. The ones I can share are:

1. The knives just aren't cooperating. I've finished 2 that I think are good enough to use for my JS judging, but in the course of trying to make 3 more, I've rejected about 6 blades, for various reasons. At this point, I don't have time to make more. And I'm not going to take knives that don't meet MY standards.

2. Construction is supposed to begin on my new shop, right about the same time as the Blade show, and I really need to be here for that.

My apologies to anyone who is disappointed. I wish it would have worked out, but, it's not. And I was really hoping to meet many of you. I'll try again next year.

I'll see about having my dealer take some of the knives I've finished to the show, so at least y'all can see some of my knives, if not me, this year.

Phillip

That's too bad Phillip, I'm sorry to hear that.

Your knives can only get that much better in the next year, and hopefully you wont be in a time crunch. I plan on attending Blade for the first time next year, I hope to see you (and your knives) there! -Matt-
