*****TRADED*****NIB Half Face Blades SHPOS $ 415
Price is PayPal FF shipped insured USPS Priority to US States and Territories.
From Half Face Blades:
KNIFE IS COMBATIVES DESIGN WITH SMALL TIP FOR PUNCTURING/STABBING AND SLASHING FLESH. NOT HARDENED OBJECTS SUCH AS WOOD ETC.
8" overall open, 4 7/8ths" overall closed, 3" blade, 5/8ths" thick with pocket clip
Body - Machined solid billet 6AL-4V Titanium Type 2 anodizing. The body is a true monolithic frame which eliminates the need for backspacers, stand offs or additional hardware while gaining strength and rigidity.
Blade – S45VN stainless steel (58-59 RHC) with a proprietary heat treat to bond with a nitride coating (62 RHC).
Lock Up – Tapered button lock and bushing coated with nitride finish to wear evenly with the blade. System willll wear “in” with use, not wear “out”. The longer the blade is used, the tighter the lock up will get.
Pivot System – Dual, sealed roller bearings press fit into the frame. Pivot pin is captive to the blade and bearings eliminating all play in lock up and close. Dual bearing pivot system maximizes stability, while reducing friction in opening of blade.
Pocket Clip – Type 3 anodized aluminum pocket clip designed to be reversible on both sides of the body. Custom opposing inserts fill the gap to eliminate exposed threaded holes.
Push button blade lock release has a break in period Folders push buttons can be a little sticky new and takes time to break in.
From me:
All true except last statement, this one came with an out of the box perfect no stick push button.
I love the integral/monolith construction, smooth action, tight lock up, and especially sharp centered blade. However, I'm not a collector. Bought it as a potential replacement for my fixed blade EDC karambit but have decided to stick with the karambit.
Trades? Might consider an ADV folder with button lock.
