Don't think there is a generation 4 in the 3". Nice knife though.

Thanks for the info. I associate the slicer grind (as opposed to spanto) with the newer production model, but I could certainly be wrong. Maybe others can chime in as well. Regardless of the "generation," this one is brand new with the slicer grind that you see on most of the newer models.

It's a Gen 2. The 1st were hand ground. Only the 3.5" has progressed to Gen 4.
