NIB Kershaw Tilt 4001 with Udderholm Vanax 75 Cutting Edge

Blade: 4"
Closed: 5-1/2"
Steel: Vanax 75/420 Composite Blade
Handle: Titanium, Carbon Fiber Overlay on Handle Front; Titanium Clip
Weight: 4.8 oz.
Made in USA

Udderholm Vanax 75 is a high-nitrogen stainless steel that has excellent corrosion resistance, very high wears resistance, and earns 60-61 on the Rockwell scale. Kershaw uses its patented Composite Blade technology to put this state-of-the-art performance steel on the Tilt's cutting edge.

KVT (Kershaw Velocity Technology) Opening System

The Tilt features Kershaw's KVT opening system for butter-smooth manual opening. Instead of a standard pivot hinge, the Tilt has ball bearings at the pivot point. Pull back on the ambidextrous blade protrusion, the ball bearings rotate, and the blade glides out of the handle quickly and easily.

Frame Lock with Frame Limiter Technology

Because of the angled design of the frame lock and the precision of the EDM cut, the Tilt's frame lock cannot be overextended or bent out of shape even with long-term use. It is, quite simply, the most secure frame lock ever devised.

Ultra-lightweight

From materials to design, the Tilt is built to be easy to carry -- even though it's a larger knife. The titanium handles have been skeletonized on the inside to lighten the land, while a carbon fiber scale on a single side adds almost no weight to the Tilt.

Limited edition of 1,000 pieces. Serial number #210 $1095.00 (OBRO)tilt.JPG tilt a.JPG
