It is time to minimize my arms and blades collection so I am selling a blade I really thought I never would let go. Up for grabs is my vintage, Microtech Makora - New in Tube with all paperwork.
(BTW we are expecting our first child in October and we finally closed on a house that requires some renovations last month after a 4 month long delay with the title, that said our renovations that we carefully calculated and planned to get done gradually over the past 5 months now need to be complete in one...so rather than taking it slow and steady we are having to go with the contractors that can simply squeeze us in....so no trade offers please (as tempting as they may be

Now about my Makora...
It is a double action, half serrated blade with double glass breakers.
I have NEVER seen another one of these for sale. I have turned down multiple random offers of $650 in the past when I was showing it off previously and still given my current situation I won't let this one go for less than asking price. Please keep this in mind and thank you for your understanding (it takes up far less room in my gun safe than other items I will be listing on sites that allow it)
So in all my research there are plenty of the "Makora 2" out there, but this one is the original Makora.
Made in Vero Beach in September of 2003.
The Microtech Rep at a Northern Gunshow wanted this blade something awful a few years ago, but I was not ready to sell. His suggestion for value is more than my asking price.
All Original paperwork, Microtech tool and original Tube included with the sale.
The knife may show a few handling marks, but it is in exceptional condition never carried or cut anything with it. The handle material is very grippy. Works as it should for deploying the blade and retraction. I have a video on my computer I can try to share showing condition and operation. I struggle to retract with one hand tho (female grip muscles are sub par for the stiffness of the retract with a single thumb)
I will be listing other nice pieces in the days to come.
Thank you for your interest and I can provide more info or photos if needed
Note: SN blurred in photos for confidentiality (I will try to get photos asap or just message me)
