I have for sale/trade.
THE One of One Pre-production Prototype BUCK/Strider
Model 880SP (large Spear Point).
You get the mint knife, box, papers and a hand signed by Mr Chuck Buck COA. I also had the Prototype blade signed by BOTH CJ and Chuck Buck.
The Certificate of Authenticitly states the following
"This letter is to verify that this Buck model 880SP Strider was actully made by the BUCK Knife Company of Post Falls Idaho. The media blasted blade is of BG-42 Steel;Stamped "StriderBuck" around the Strider logo,on the left side of the ricasso,andsb.1 with the date code for 2000 near the choil; and the Bos logo, over BG-42,U.S.A. on the right hand side. The handle is rough textured, non beveled G-10 with a media blasted belt clip. The particular knife is a pre-production run prototype and is not engraved "1st Production Run 1 of 500" like the production units were. The one sided thumb stud is held on by a torx head screw that is larger than those used in production and the blade finish is also unlike that used on production units".
Sincerly
Charles T. Buck(his real signature)
Chairman
