As a side note, Sky Harbor International Airport, in Phoenix AZ, has just instituted a mail back program for confiscated items. Knives, assault clippers and the like can now be put in envelopes and mailed to yourself, or someone else. Better than nothing I guess. :(
 
I've said it before and I'll say it again:) . We need knife writers to start writing articles for general purpose magizines,not just knife magizines.You'll reach tons more people,and won't be preaching to the choir.How about an artical about all the new steels in a science mag,sak's in a travel mag,etc. Playboy often has a knife in a whats new or gifts for men piece,maybe they'd like a whole article about knives.
