I based this one from a knife kits DDR3BL button lock kit. I replace the stock blade with a fine piece of 1095/nickel twist damascus. File worked the spine. Properly heat treated and tempered in my digital oven. I etch the blade in ferric chloride with a bit of copper. The copper bonds to the nickel and gives the coloration. I fit the scales from Afzelia, an African hardwood. I made a stainless back space to fit and vine file worked it. I also replace the nylon lock piece with by machining a replacement from stainless. The release button is inset with a piece of warthog ivory. Easy to open. Press lock and open. It will auto open very quickly with the extra strength spring installed. Will be shipped without spring installed unless autos are acceptable your location.
Closed 4 1/2"
Open 7 7/8"
