Nice Unstabilized Koa- good pricing...

There was enough interest in this koa to start a sales thread.

This koa is natural, NOT stabilized. I don't have enough stuff currently to send to K&G and don't really have the time to do it either so I'm offering these blocks up for the guys that want to send stuff out themselves or do it at home.

Koa also can be used natural with an oil finish. It has nearly identical properties to American walnut, which we use unstabilized all the time.

Either way, these are nice blocks with great color and curl and aren't junk blocks. The prices have been set to make these a pretty good value. Stabilizing with K&G works out to right around $5 per block pretty consistently so that makes for some pretty good deals here. The colors and depth to the curl simply can't be captured true to life in these pics, at least not by me.

Stabilizing and/or a good oil finish will further enhance the curl and color.

I'd sell the remaining 9 blocks for $295 if anyone is interested. That's a further savings of $50 off the list prices. That's pretty darn good koa for $32 a block.
