Well, this hamon knife got a good work out today. I am not at Liberty to share all of the photos, but am sharing a few personal ones. The knife was used to carve, whittle, notch, and some light chopping while fashioning several parts, tools, and utensils. The edge experienced various abrasions, including linear when sawing on the wood in acute angle notches, and lateral when ringing-and-breaking hard seasoned hardwood limbs into sections. The knife was extremely comfortable in use, and even after being worked pretty hard for several hours still had a great edge. Just wanted to drop a line and say well done Matt!
