Nick's bowies are virtually impossible to get, in fact, I can't remember the last time I saw one for sale in a forum. Here's your chance to get one of the nicest Nick has made to date, at a very fair price.
This bowie has an approx. 7" forged, damascus blade, which has a pattern that apparently began as a "W" pattern, then was twisted and ended up in a ladder pattern, so, I guess it could be called a laddered, "W" twist pattern. Whatever you call it, it is amazingly nice and the blade sharp beyond belief.
The "S" guard, and all other fittings are vividly blued, twist damascus. The handle is a piece of presentation grade Sambar stag that's even nicer than it looks in the pictures. The F&F is of course as good as it gets, many Mastersmiths could learn a few things from Nick.
Get this amazing and all but impossible to get Wheeler bowie for $1265 including fully insured, 2-day shipping. The price is fair and firm.
No trades please, as the only reason for the sale is to pay a bill I unfortunately just realized I had to pay.
Postal MO is preferred, I will take PayPal if you add the 3%.
First to email and say they'll take it gets it.
Thanks for looking,
Ari
