Nick Wheeler carbon fiber masterpiece

A long time ago, I was looking through a thread on this forum that consisted of the making of a knife by nick wheeler. Within the thread there were in depth description as to how he made what I would refer to as a sort of marbled carbon fiber. I can not find this thread anywhere and am very interested in attempting this myself. Thanks ahead of time! Jack

I have done it, and used regular weave carbon fibre but unwove it into strands. It's called unidirectional. I used it for bolsters on my last kitchen knife set. :thumbup:
