This is a manly piece of W2, that has been differentially hardened and shows the hamon. In typical Wheeler fashion, this chopper has a tapered tang. Doesn't get any use from me, but feels like it wants to chop as soon as you pick it up.
Condition is good - good+, maybe even better.
The former owner had Nick Wheeler make this chopper based on one of his early competition knives. It was then sent to Okuden to get one of his A-7T model sheaths made for it (~$80 sheath at the time). Great fitting sheath with various ways to strap it to your gear and includes a leg strap too.
