Hello Everyone! :)


This is a heads up that my favorite knife maker is featured in the new Knives Illustrated magazine with a 6 page write up about him and his knives!!! :D

Even with the praise of so many collectors and other knife makers, Nick never recognizes how good he really is. I love and adore Nick's parents; they raised a very good man. He is an amazing knifemaker, but too humble to admit it. I know that is a good thing!!! :) Hopefully this article will prove to him he deserves the praise he gets tho!

I know (probably better than most) just how much time Nick has devoted to this forum, to share things he has taken many years to learn. I thought you knife guys would like to know about Nick being in the magazine.

It takes great support from those around to be able to succeed. Thanks for being there to show support like this!

Oh, I guess a congratulations is in order for Nick as well- way to go! Your disposition toward perfection does pay off!
Don't usually get that magazine but will have to make an exception this time.
 
Yep, I am extremely fortunate!!! :) To have the support that I do with Angi and my family... and of course my friends and fellow knife makers. :)

The article is a huge feather in my cap! I started buying Blade and Knives Illustrated when I was in 8th grade--- I wouldn't have believed back then that I'd ever be so lucky to have my own work spot-lighted like this.

I walked into Barnes and Noble and picked it up and saw Nicks article and thought it came out very well.

Congrats Nick if I was not spending all my $$$ on equipment I would own one of your bowies.


They in my opinion are among the best being made currently.
 
Super badass. Can't get a copy within 200 miles, but would if I could. I bet it's a great article, Nick's got the chops and the shop to make for a fascinating read.

Not surprised at all. I'm new to all of this, but your work has been very inspirational to me and I'm sure to many others. Congratulations, well deserved!

Angi, thanks for sharing that! Very cool. I'll have to try and find a copy around here to read it.

Nick, a big congrats on the article. A six page spread is really nice and well deserved. Thanks for motivating me in my own work buddy!
