Ok, this is an oldie, but a damn goodie. A long time ago, Nick humored me by taking a piece of Kevin Cashen's awesome O1/L6 twist pattern damascus and a piece of KILLER amber stag I picked up from an old grouch at the K.C. gun show about 15 years ago and made me a knife with the stuff I sent him. Nick, being Nick, would only do so, if he actually forged the Cashen damascus to shape. Well, the result was/is awesome, of course.(wadja expect? It's a Wheeler. You KNOW Nick's not going to let anything out of his shop that's less than awesome). Anywho, I've never used the knife and I found a pistol I really want, so toys must be sacrificed to obtain new toys. A bit under 8" overall, with a blade of a bit over 3". Flat ground as thin and sharp as a maker dares to grind. Stainless single guard and spacer with a copper spacer between. The copper has taken on a patina, but a person could always Flitz it clean again, if they choose to. Also, the amber stag has a little crack underneath, near the finger guard. A bit of superglue and you'd hardly notice it. Heck, I soak it in mineral oil for a day and it pretty much closes up anyway. But, it's there and must be disclosed. Knife comes with a sheath, but not one Nick made; just something I found that kinda fits. It is what it is. The knife didn't come with a sheath, but I did plan on carrying and using it, so...

This is pre Journeyman Smith Wheeler, but only the lack of the J.S. would give you the clue. Otherwise, it's typical Nick; meaning, grab a proton magnometer and TRY to find a flaw. ;) Satisfaction guaranteed; you'll love this knife. Price is fairuser1960_pic84043_1320805010.jpguser1960_pic84044_1320805010.jpg $400 shipped to any U.S. address. Outside the U.S., actual shipping charges apply. If you use Paypal, I ask that you help me with the nasty fees. I can't really demand extra for the fees, but I can ask. ;)

And, this one is now WITHDRAWN.

I tried to get a decent pic of the teeny crack in the stag; here goes. Again, this is nothing. Some days, I can't really notice it. Trade goodies 007.jpg

368 people are interested in this one, but not interested enough yet, hmmm? ;)

$350 shipped sound more appealing? :)
