Nickel Silver Bar Stock

Looking for a specific size of N/S for bolster material. Looking for 1/2" x 1/4" x 12". I've checked some of the usual online suspects and am UTL. Anyone have a source?

Jantz and Sheffield typically carry NS in a few sizes.

If you mean exactly 1/2X1/4", then you may have to look around. Most all suppliers carry 1X1/4" and 3/4X1/4" bars, as well as sheet stock.

Yeah specifically that size. I've got the other sizes stocked up. I have a couple small knives that the 3/4" just looks out of proportion on, just too wide. I can find 1/2" brass but was looking for the n/s. My attempts at making 3/4" into 1/2" have left much to be desired.

Just saw 1/2" wide strips from sheet stock.

Dang was hoping to avoid that. My problem with grinding down the 3/4" stock is keeping everything square to itself.
