Nickel silver bolsters vs. brass...?

Dave,,,whats the 214 stamp? And is that a reflection or an etching on the blade?

0214 is the serial no of the knife,
no i dont know how many were made
but it would not suprise me if it was 2002 made
{AS long and there is no date mark on my customs :p .!}
either way it is a low number not that i worry so much on it,,,
the scales are what was called the charcoal and only on the custom verson
and on the blade is a reflection ...
have had that happen to me trying to photo polished baldes...
(ugh ... dont look to close at that reflection it is not what you think...)
tell now i have lost every bid i made on one...

Hey Dave, Did that knife come with a box? The brass bolsters are unusual. I had 6 of the 2002's, all with nickle silver bolsters, charcoal scales, polished & numbered blades, and came in black L.E. boxes.

Thanks for the pics and info everybody! Can't wait... Think I'm going to look around for a nice elk or "european" stag version.
Mike, Where in Pikesville did you live?

I guess I didn't realize that the 2002 100 year anniv 110 came in so many different flavors.
