I would like to attempt to make a n.s. sheath for the bird knife.
What gauge of n.s. should i buy and can anyone give me some tips on working with it?
Also which solder should i order for this project?
Thanks for all your help!

Hi Bob

Try this

As for tips, I have always used the .032 ns. not sure what gauge that is, but a place like Rio Grande's web site will show you that.

Take the time it takes to mold your pieces so the 2 halves will line up perfectly. With only .032 to work with, you don't have much that you can sand away if your 2 halves don't line up well.

Good luck
