I dont see it much different than anything else to work. Sometimes it grabs drill bits so just go slow and cool. I still like the stuff although some collectors opted for 416 stainless instead. On some of the classics nickel silver is the only thing that looks right to me.
Its very easy to work and will sand to a high polish. It is tougher than brass but softer than 416 stainless. It works so well that I do most work with hand tools. You can file to shape and sand pretty easy and drilling is also easy. I takes solder really well and I dont bother to tin when I solder which I alway do with SS.
