I just completed a purchase from Nifrand and couldn't be more pleased. We agreed on the purchase on Tuesday, just two days ago and I have the knife in my hands as I type (not really, it's on the desk but I am looking at it). The knife was exactly as advertised--no, I take that back, he included a zippered knife case that I wasn't expecting. He sent the knife priorty and I sent my check standard the same day, so I have the knife and he probably doesn't even have my money yet, what a trusting guy.

My attitude here really surprises me because I just got interested in real knifes about three months ago, and shortly found Bladeforums. I have since bought 8 knifes, with Nifrands being the eighth. I can remember looking at the knives for sale by individuals forum and thinking, why would anybody try to save 20-30% on a new knife here? What if you send the money and don't get the knife? What if It's not really new?

Now am a bit less ignorant. My opinion is the exact opposite. I would prefer to deal with one of the well respected individuals on this forum over a dealer. The individuals won't always have what I'm looking for so I'll certainly still buy fron dealers, but I'd rather buy from someone such as Nifrand.

I've had dealings with Knifrand too and I agree- he's a good guy to deal with. Met him at Patrick's place (Triple Aught Design) and it was a pleasure doing business with him!

I've also bought knives from Randy and have found him to be a man of his word. Knives were accurately described and reasonably priced. Enjoyed doing business with him and would not hesitate to do so in the future.:D

Thanks for the kind words guys. All I do is try to "Live by the Golden Rule" when it comes to my knife deals.Seems to be working.:)
