Where can I find any info on the Night Vision Folder?
Does anybody have any experience in using the knife
just as a utility knife and occasional rope cutting?

I have the X-Ray and have found that it's a little too nice for use as a utility knife. It's a great looking knife. I would hate to mess it up hacking up stuff at work. I have also found that it's a bit on the large side for use at work. Some folks flip out when they see a blade over 3 inches long. I use my little Spyderco standard at work most of the time. If I have to do a lot of heavy cutting, I'll drag the old Sog AutoCLip out of my tool box.
When we head out for a walk or a trip to the mall, I always carry the X-Ray. It has the fastest opening blade I've ever seen.

I have used it to open a few boxes and cut some ski rope while out shopping, and it works just fine..
 
Hey Ron, thanks for the reply. I'm seriously on the verge of
getting one and wanted to get an overall opinion on the piece.
Well, it looks like I'll have to cruise on down to the knife
shop.
