I've been eyeing a Tanto Nighthawk. I own an old Nighthawk, and the edge is so thick that I find it almost useless except for the absolute heaviest of cutting.

Is there a real difference with Buck's Edge2000 grind?
Would the tanto Nighthawk be a good one to get?

We will thin down the edge on your knighthawk and give it the edge 2000 treatment. That knife was designed for only the heaviest of duties but so many folks like to use it for other things that we finally started making them with thinner edges a few years back.
We will have it re-edged under warrantee.
