As a red-blooded American and Texan, I have few real fears...

The return of the 18th Amendment, and the thought of only owning one knife!:eek::eek::eek:

If you could only have one... which would it be???????? :confused:

Mine is this one.... I beat it like a rented mule... (and it laughs). One day I guess I'll have to sharpen it, but that day hasn't come yet. :)

For me it would be the Gifted Badger. I definitely couldn't chop with it, but it'll baton like one of them young Texas girlies at the head of a parade.
 
Gotta get me a leg lamp! (And a Busse, after I hit the lottery. Or somebody can sell me a user...)
 
Fixed blade would be my SJ.

Folder would be a Scott Cook Lochsa.

If I then had to narrow it down further, the Sj would come out on top.

It's just so capable.
 
I'd HATE to have to decide and I probably will change my mind once my SARsquatch comes back from NorCalBlacktail's capable hands, but I'm gonna go with this...

My new NASA HHFSH that came in two days ago (Thanks rt014!!!). I have been a HUGE admirer of my HOGFSH and thought it would be "The Knife", BUT I can't bring myself to use it, so it will probably be going to the Exchange soon (to help fund another venture that's long overdue...more details later). I have been on a buying frenzy for the past 2 years trying to find the perfect knife and I find myself gravitating towards the 3/16" to 9/32" blades in 7"-8" lengths.

I hope the day never comes where I have to decide on ONE knife!!!

if there could be only one than prob my nmsfno just because it is big and thick and a Jack of all trades...

It's like a goldilocks :D
 
Think I'd go with my SJ.

Had a lot of Busse's pass through, big and small. SJ always stands out as the best!

of all Busse blades, an AK - that I'd cut down and make a second knife out of.
