NIGHTMARE!!! A one knife world... which would you choose?????

That's...a really tough question. May I have a few years to think on that, Senator? ;):D:D

I guess I am lucky in having a few that would all work .... unlucky in that I cannot decide ???:D:D:D

More fun time needed to see which I like best ...

Bark River Bravo 1.

If I didn't have it, I'd probably go with a Laconico. And if I had one, my third pick would be one of those oldie Badger Attacks in A2 steel.

My Choice.

I got my first Busse (Boss Street) about 2 weeks ago. So, now I have to get at least one more Busse (yeah, right); something with a 7-9 inch blade. I have two Fallkniven Odin's; one has seen a lot of abuse; the other stays in the BOB. The Odin in the BOB is going up for sale for sure. Thanks for this thread - lots of ideas to drive my next Busse acquisition.

as far as Busse goes, a BAIII or SJ(SH).

I do much more cutting than chopping, so I wouldn't want anything bigger if I could only have one knife. Alot of cutting choirs, fishing and hunting in the real world.
And you didn't say we couldn't have an axe:D

There is only one real Rat now... Swamprat.

The other changed there name the "esee", or something close to that.

ESEE is correct. And it's hard to argue with their products. You can buy one whenever you want without paying an aftermarket premium and you can break it however you want and they'll replace it for free. All for less than $200 for any of their size options, including the carry system! A fine deal, in my opinion.

Now, I understand the topic is probably "what one BUSSE would you pick" so in that case the oldie Badger would stand. But of course, I will never buy one so the point is kinda moot....
