OK, as it often goes, I have seen another knife I must have, so, things have to go, I'm not a wealthy guy, and so, generally, when I get something new, something old has to go, unfortunately, sometimes the ones I have to sell REALLY hurt, as is the case here.

(All knives are absolutely new and mint)

Nightmare SMF (Temporarily Withdrawn and Replaced with...)

OK, the Hayes and Hossom already sold, and so, I am fairly close to my goal and what I need to buy my new knife, so, the SMF is temporarily withdrawn (Whew!) and replaced with an equally sweet...

NM Stellite SLCC!!!

OK, to replace the withdrwan SMF, I will instead offer up a SHWEEEET Nightmare Stellite SLCC Tanto! Possibly the Holy Grail of Strider fixed blades, the knife is mint, save for the normal kydex rubs, razor sharp and pointy as hell. Never used to cut so much as a hair. I want what I paid, $550 plus shipping which will run me $10 for insured 2-day. So, $560 in a postal MO gets this bad boy! First to email and say they'll take it gets it.

(SMF below withdrawn because other knives sold quickly, but replaced with above NM 6K SLCC!)

Nightmare SMF

Coyote Brown G10, straight edge Tanto NM SMF that is functionally AND cosmetically as perfect as a Strider gets. The lockup on this thing is a wet dream and sounds like a gunshot when it locks open, the action is still stiff, not yet broken in, but very smooth, the ball detent is as strong as the LOCKS on other, lesser knives! To say there is zero play in any direction is an understatement, it's truly like a fixed blade when open. Blade is nicely centered too. I just got this brand new about 2 weeks ago.

I have had so many PMs and emails from people asking me to buy it or trade for it, a few said it's the coolest NM folder they ever saw, well, can't argue there, it is. But, I need the cash, so, here it is at a fair and FIRM price. If I get the $$$ I need from other sales, and this one isn't sold, I will withdraw it. It hurts to sell this, but I know its my best bet to get a chunk of $$$ fast.

Dealers have been selling the more common recurve NM SMFs like hotcakes for $975 plus shipping, not sure if they came with a case or not, MINE DOES COME WITH THE $40 STRIDER PRESENTATION CASE and I am offering it at the firm and fair price of $950 shipped insured, 2-day.

Nick Wheeler bowie

OK, next up is a SWEET, very rare Wheeler bowie. When is the last time you saw anything for sale in a forum by Nick, ummm, I don't recall EVER seeing one, and particularly a bowie! There is a good reason for this, his quality is at a level that is rarely seen, even on MS knives, you have to see one of his knives in person to appreciate what I'm talking about, literally as good as it gets.

This fighter bowie is a long 9" of flawlessly satin finished forged carbon steel, with a long, false clip, stainless satin double guard, the fit of the blade to guard is press fit (no solder) and 100% seamless. The handle is a gorgeous, ultra-dense ironwood burl that has been masterfully mortised with no discernable seam. The handle further, has been heavily shaped and sculpted and is very comfy in the hand. This is a one of a kind, sleek, full size Nick Wheeler bowie, something you will not see for sale anywhere again, at any price. I believe I paid $900 for it about a year ago, prices have risen since, it's probably worth more like $1200 now, if you can find one, which you can't, but, get it for $865 shipped insured, 2-day.

Blackwood Titanium Fiend

OK, next up is a rare Blackwood. Neil made only 6 Fiends in Ti, and, I believe of the 6, only 3 had the way cool multi-colored dimples, the others had simple holes. VERY sweet neck knife, scalpel sharp, excellent kydex neck sheath. The much more common and plain looking Stellite Fiends sell for $500 or $550 I believe, get this much rarer and nicer looking one for a steal at $395 shipped insured, 2-day.

Tanto by Wally Hayes MS (SOLD!!!)

Next up is a super sweet Hayes custom Tanto . 6" forged tool steel blade, has the true Japanese traditional Tanto grind, with the upswept tip and zero, double ground edge, as opposed to the Americanized chisel ground angled tip. This was a one of a kind custom Wally made about a year ago, with an extra large knot/guard and blood red ray skin. Further, there is something special about the Hamon on this one, it has a feature called: "Utsuri", Wally calls it a "Ghost Hamon", which is a secondary temper line visible above the actual one, the neat thing is, this "ghost line" is not a temper line from where the clay touched the blade, it is a metalurgical phenomenon where a secondary line simply appears above the main one and is indicitive of a perfect heat treat, Wally I'm told was very impressed with this particular knife with this unique Hamon. Anyway, his typical Tantos sell for about $600, I want that same $600, a good price for a much better and rarer Hayes Tanto. Comes with a kydex belt sheath.

Hossom Reprisal (Sold!!!)

Last, but not least, a SWEET Hossom, a fully decked out Reprisal. 4" satin s30V double edged blade, extremely fine patterned green and tan micarta handle with those killer mosaic pins Jerry uses. F&F is of course flawless, and it comes with excellent kydex. Mint, mean, yours for $465 shipped insured, 2-day. Excellent, rare Hossom at a great price.

Well, there you have it, let me further add, as I wipe the tears from my keyboard that if you buy more than one, I will give you a slight discount. And, as always, the first to EMAIL me and say the magic words: "I'll take it" gets the knife you want.

I must insist on postal money orders ONLY for these sales, as my wife recently started watching my bank and PayPal accounts like a hawk, so I need postal MO's for that reason. Sorry. (For us both).

And as is also always the case, if you are not 100% haoppy with a knife, just send it back, I'll even pick up return shipping, yes, I have all confidences in this group of knives, that's why this is so painful. The only consolation is the sweet Wakizashi that will be bought with the funds I get from these sales. I hope I can live with that.

Thanks for looking.

Ari
