Does this lens have an internal focusing motor, or does it need a camera with a motor to focus? Does it use the focus coupling is what I mean to ask--not sure if I'm doing a good job explaining what I'm asking.

This need a body with the motor to focus. The D40 and several other bodies will not operate the autofocus feature (monual focis is still there) but the D70 will.
