nimravus or nimravus cub?

Hello. I really like the looks of the Nimravus knives, and have been able to handle the Nimravus, but not the cub. I was wandering if the cub would be able to handle skinning squirrels and rabbits or is it designed to do different things than that? If so, what types of things would the cub be better at than the full size Nimravus? My main purpose for the Nimravus or Cub will be for tactical duties, but I would like to be able to use it for multiple tasks. Any advice on either knife would be appreciated. Thank you. --Tim

I've handled the Nimravus as well, and I really like the feel of it. I'll be buying one soon. Gotta get my BM42 Balisong first though. I haven't handled the cub, but I can say it will be harder to get that one as the cubs have been discontinued. Both knives I think even the Nimravus would skin sqirrels quite nicely. I usually use a Case trapper or my Schrade Sharp finger, but hell any knife can slit the skin on the back and cut around bones.
I do know the knives, or at least the reg size nim is offered in both D2 and 154CM...I haven't decided whether I want the higher corrosion resistance of 154 or if I want the ruggedness of the D2. What's your opinion?

The Cub is hard to find Sloppyfoos, I have a "Want to Buy" request out for them in another sub-forum and the only bite I had was a link to Ebay. There's a Nim Cub on Ebay in M2 steel. I'm not going to bid on it. It would be fine for squirrels and rabbits, I think.....even better than the Nimravus because the Cub is more nimble.

I'm not going to bid on the Cub because it has a partially serrated blade. I don;t care for the serrations, especially on a short blade. There is one day left in the bidding and it is currently at $107.
