Nirvana pics

I'm OK with the clip because, along with Spydie hole, it's a distinguishing feature, and it's actually a great clip. This knife will be in my collection one day!

For some reason I had absolutely no interest in this knife the first 10 times I saw it. After seeing these pictures I'm all in, what a beautiful knife (other than the clip).

I'm with you, but it will get a Lynch clip anyway. I like deep carry, but Spyderco's hour glass clip is a really nice functional clip. And the 3 hole pattern is greatly appreciated. I don't carry my Rubicon as much because I haven't found an aftermarket clip that works. Too much sticks out.

I have a sage arriving on Wednesday, as of now my Sebbie has my favorite pocket clip...small, perfect depth, holds tight and also stays out of my way...pretty hard to beat. Though I've heard the wire clip on the Sage series is really top notch, and the deep carry fits that particular knife to a T. How do you like the feel of the Rubicon? I feel like it looks really nice but not really functional. This new Nirvana looks pretty nice but also looks really functional...could be a hit, for those who can afford to buy it.

It is so nice fit finish and all, but design is not my favorite. I want to change the clip, sand down the back spacer, and make the game a bit longer or not come to a point. Also get a premium steel on that thing!

Took the word out of my mouth!

It's on preorder for $393. I'm not sure if the dealer is on BF so I won't mention them by name.
That will be on the cheaper end of things initially. Expect $400+ from most others, but don't be surprised if it goes as low as $360 if they aren't moving fast. My money is on them not moving fast. Simply because it's a $400 Spyderco. Should be an awesome knife and really unrivaled by anything in that price range.

Hmm I was really planning on a preorder, but you make a good point. If the pricing is remotely close to how the Rubicon is priced I might try to pick up a lightly used one on the exchange so I don't feel as guilty about using it...
