Nitre Blue a Damascus blade for me.

I have a Damascus blade that I would like polished, and Nitre Blued.

I have been doing some research, and was going to attempt it myself, but I figured I’d post here to see if someone with experience would do it for me. I have read many conflicting opinions regarding hardness after bluing... I’m not going to hard use the knife, but I like to use my knives, which is the main reason that I’m seeking someone with experience.

Specifically, it is a Microtech Combat Troodon.

Nitre bluing yields different colors at different temperatures. A “blue” that’s blue in color would definitely harm the blades temper.
